Hello everyone :)!
It's about time that the gang shows up again and introduces its newest member - Valeria, the dwarf silk hen :D.
I stumbled more or less by chance on the young lady and have then decided to pick up the good animal.

Hallo allerseits :)!
Es ist höchste Zeit, dass die Gang sich mal wieder blicken lässt und dabei auch gleich ihr neustes Mitglied vorstellt - Valeria, das Zwergseidenhuhn :D.
Gestoßen bin ich mehr oder weniger aus Zufall auf die junge Dame und hab mich dann kurzer Hand dazu entschlossen, das gute Tier abzuholen.
Of course I also had the good Mr. Bowie in mind, because he is surely happy about a lady in the exactly fitting size (even if this may sound a bit strange ^^) :D.
The little one was quite wobbly on her feet at the beginning, but after a few trips outside, she was able to get over it. In the meantime, she runs and flies quite skillfully :).
Natürlich hab ich dabei auch den guten Mr. Bowie im Hinterkopf gehabt, denn dieser freut sich sicherlich auch über eine Dame in der exakt passenden Größe (auch wenn das jetzt vielleicht etwas komisch klingen mag^^) :D.
Die Kleine war zu Beginn noch ziemlich wackelig auf den Füßen, was sich aber nach einigen Ausflügen nach draußen gelegt hat - mittlerweile rennt und fliegt die Gute ziemlich gekonnt :).
After the tragic loss of 2 members, the gang quickly got used to the new lady in the barn and also started to make it themselves comfortable under her.
At the beginning i was glad that this took a little focus from me, but that had changed quickly when the big one realized who the others see as a caregiver - so now even a dwarf silkie squawks as soon as I'm out of the room for too long :D.
Die Gang hat sich nach dem tragischen Verlust 2er Mitglieder schnell an die neue Dame im Stall gewöhnt und auch begonnen, sich es unter ihr gemütlich zu machen.
Zu Beginn war ich froh, dass dies ein wenig den Fokus von mir nahm, das hatte sich aber schnell geändert, als das Große feststellte, wen die anderen als Bezugsperson sehen - somit krächzt jetzt auch noch ein Zwergseidenhuhn, sobald ich mal zu lange aus dem Raum bin :D.
As you can see in the pictures, the other chickens have also grown up wonderfully and meanwhile are excellent flyers. In terms of size, they are currently still just half the size of the mother (Dutch dwarf chicken), I'm really curious how big they will become over the next few months.
Especially the hairstyle of the little one makes me smile over and over again :D.
Wie auf den Bildern zu sehen sind auch die anderen Hühner wunderbar herangewachsen und sind mittlerweile exzellente Flieger. Von der Größe her sind sie aktuell noch knapp halb so groß wie die das Muttertier (Niederländisches Zwerghuhn), ich bin wirklich sehr gespannt, wie groß die über die nächsten Monate noch werden.
Insbesondere die Frisur der Kleinen bringt mich immer wieder zum Schmunzeln :D.
In the evening, the little ones sometimes chill out on the couch, where it is always interesting to see what's going on in the TV :D.
Since the animals are very affectionate, i take them with me of course (should the conditions allow it) - accordingly, I have finally a few nice pictures of a trip to a garden plot - here we have selected the beams for the probably in the next 2 weeks finished stable.
To post its creation is up to the architect - @zeitplanziellos.
After a few hours in the raised bed the little ones went on the shoulders and arms of the old one, chilling a little in the sun :D.
Am Abend gehts gelegentlich noch eine Runde auf der Couch chillen, wobei immer interessant ist, was so in der Glotze vor sich geht :D.
Da die Tiere sehr anhänglich sind, nehme ich sie natürlich auch mit, sollten es die Gegebenheiten zulassen - dementsprechend hab ich abschließend noch ein paar nette Bilder von einem Ausflug auf ein Gartengrundstück - hier haben wir die Balken für den wohl in den nächsten 2 Wochen fertiggestellten Stall ausgesucht.
Dessen Entstehung zu posten obliegt allerdings dem Architekten - @zeitplanziellos.
Nach einigen Stunden im Hochbeet gings dann auf die Schultern und Arme des Alten, noch ein wenig in der Sonne chillen :D.
