Free theme this week. Lets go with Favorite resting spot.
There are places where birds like to come. Some higher ground, electric pools, house eaves any place that gives better look for food or it is close to the feeding ground. Or it is just nice and safe rest point for the birds.
Last year during trip to Germany we were in Cologne. And here while visiting Hohenzollern Bridge on the barge pole there were couple birds on it. I think it is obvious by the marks on it left by birds that this is one of the go to spots when resting or searching for food. Maybe this is Favorite spot for birds in Cologne. Bridge is over Rhine river.
There were 4 birds on it. After some research I concluded that these three birds should be Cormorants. And seagull is present as well.
I think it was my first time seeing Cormorants.
Barge pole. It is quite long.
The Hohenzollern Bridge. Barge pole is on the middle of the bridge. There are many locks everywhere on and around the bridge.
