Wildlife : Birdwatching - 1405 šŸ¦

Looks like I missed yesterday's date šŸ°
Exactly 6 years ago, on June 11, 2016, I registered on this platform. To be more precise, it was a steemit, it was only later that a split, a fork, and a hive appeared.
It's ironic that at this moment I'm back to where I started - paltry payouts, and no feedback.

šŸ“š Acanthis in ancient Greek. mythology daughter of Autonous and sister Acanthus; when Acanthis sobbed over the murdered Acanthus, the gods turned her into a bird.

These birds can be considered northern siskins. They even look alike, I mean in shape, they differ only in colors. They even have similar calls, just with a different tone.
Moreover, sometimes in flocks of these birds you can see lonely siskins. Why not? They are close relatives.

There is another type of these birds - The Arctic redpoll or hoary redpoll (Acanthis hornemanni).
They are very, very rare for me. At first glance, it is difficult to distinguish them from common redpoll. However, they are more white, especially the underside of the body. There are practically no variegated stripes at the bottom of the body.
