🦉 The Siberian rubythroat (Calliope calliope)
📚 Calliope (ancient Greek mythology) is the eldest of the muses, the goddess of chants, the muse of epic poetry.
What an interesting and accurate scientific name this nightingale has!
Goddess of chants. It's hard to argue with this, because this nightingale sings amazing songs. In his songs, he uses the voices of other birds ever heard and just extraneous sounds. Once I heard the sounds of a bell in his song and it seems the sound of a car alarm.
The 1st and 3rd pictures show a young male. He has a barely visible red speck on his neck, over time this speck will become bright and large. The second picture shows an adult male.
