SMaP 154 - Free Theme (Birds on snow)

I would like to say thank you to dear @nelinoeva for this competition. You can find the announcement and rules here.

This week's theme is - Free Theme.
I decided to show you birds in the snow.

It is not difficult to meet a willow tit in the snow in winter, as they are one of the most numerous birds.

But seeing a bluethroat in the snow is rare. They arrive in the steppe zones at the end of April, and the snow does not always have time to melt by this time.

This uragus (Long-tailed rosefinch) flew across a field of wormwood. For some reason he sat down in the snow, probably dropped something when he was eating carelessly.

Although goldfinches are wintering birds, you can easily see them in winter only now, in February. The food supply is running out, and flocks of goldfinches are flying into city yards.

Chaffinches are among the very first birds to arrive from wintering grounds. They appear in the forests quite early, when there is still snow.

Meeting a bullfinch (or, as we call it, a snower) in winter is not uncommon. They stand out brightly against the background of white snow.

But the gray bullfinch is more rare, as it lives far away, in mountainous areas.
