Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo Contest Round 15 - Wings

I would like to say thank you to @nelinoeva for the next competition. So this week's theme is - wings.

The common tern (Sterna hirundo)

Pay attention to what a graceful and slender bird! Her wings are long and sharp, like her tail. The bird is able to hover in the air over one place, waiting for the right moment to grab a fish.

The common raven (Corvus corax)

And this dude flew right over my head. Look at his wings. Yes, they are not in the best condition. After all, a raven is a predator, and for example, thrushes often boldly attack birds of prey in flight when they defend their territories.

The black kite (Milvus migrans)

The same goes for these graceful predators.
Despite their predatory and harsh appearance, they are rather helpless in flight, therefore they constantly fly with stripped wings. Even tiny wagtails attack them!
But their flight is quite beautiful. They imposingly fly in circles with their wings spread.

The Eurasian teal (Anas crecca), common teal, or Eurasian green-winged teal

And this duck, at first glance very similar to the mallard duck familiar to all of us, was quietly swimming in the lake in the middle of the meadow. Then she began to clean herself and swim, and at that moment I caught this shot. A green speck on the wings (the so-called "mirror") is one of the ways to distinguish it from a mallard.
