šŸ¦‰ The common redstart (Phoenicurus phoenicurus)

  • Phoenicurus Greek: dark red phoinix, oura tail

This bright, beautiful bird emerges after wintering around the end of April or beginning of May, depending on the weather. The main thing is that it is already warm and there is no snow, because the bird is insectivorous. At first, the birds spend the mating season, and at this time it is not so easy to get close to them.

After some time, some of them may appear in the courtyards of the city. This morning I heard the song of this bird not far from my house.
Summer is the best time to admire these birds. Males bravely protect their family, so they display themselves and try to lead them away from children or the female. But don't abuse it!
