šŸ¦‰ The lesser whitethroat (Curruca curruca)

  • curruca - is an unidentified bird name mentioned in poems by the ancient Roman poet Juvenal

I sometimes meet these birds in the spring, in places where bushes grow near the coastline. There these birds mutter and jump from branch to branch. The bird leads a secretive lifestyle and lives exclusively in the bushes. You won't see it on trees.

There have been cases when I met this bird in the forest, but again in the bushes. I also noticed it several times in my yard.
It differs from its relative, the gray warbler, in having dark legs and smaller size.
