Birdwatching - 1615 šŸ¦

šŸ¦‰ The Siberian stonechat or Asian stonechat (Saxicola maurus)

šŸ“š Saxicola (lat ): saxum rock, stone, -cola inhabitant
šŸ“š maurus (lat.): Moorish, black

I observe the largest number of these birds in the meadows outside the city. There are vast expanses that these birds love. However, as they say, they can get by with little. A small open area is enough even in the forest, lawns.

That's where I met them. This is a place near the hills, at the bottom of which there is an open space of a small size.
These birds like to sit on the very tops of the vegetation and observe their surroundings like meerkats.

That day I met a family of these birds. The male is in the first photo, the female is in the second, and the fledglings are in the rest.
