Wild birds in the suburb.

A break in the rain and I was out with my camera.

First to appear was this Hadeda Ibis couple.

We have had tons of rain here again and there's news of another cold front on its way. In the meantime it's a relief not to have stroll through my files again while staying inside to avoid getting wet.
It was late afternoon and the birds were out to see if there was anything to eat before nightfall.

A bit of swordplay here between the loving couple.

Very loud birds that is not much in favor by the residents as their calls wake the people early in the mornings.

The late sun came over and I saw this Guinea Fowl couple foraging in an empty stand. (Numida meleagris)

I am sure that they were just as happy as me to see the sun.

Now what can I say about this beautiful picture of the sun on it's way down. That tree always amazes me and today I got the ideal background to highlight the tree.

Not many chances for live photography these past weeks, but thankfully we are heading towards the end of winter and then the new life Spring season arrives.
All of these pictures were taken around our home and maybe tomorrow we will get a chance to go out again.
For now I have to take what I can get and I hope that you find this suitable.

And That's All Friends!
