Some cheese eaters and other wild birds.

The Cape White-eyes saw us coming and they knew that Marian had cheese.

But not to be, as a pair of strangers popped in to steal their meal.

These little Cape White-eyes (Zosterops virens) have become used to us, as when we arrived there was nothing in the trees above us. But after a while 3 of them popped up out of nowhere.

Not to be today as two Cape Robin-chats (Cossypha caffra) arrived to grab all of their cheese.

A little Southern Double-collared Sunbird (Cynnyris chalybeus) came to sit in a tree to pose for a photo.

When he was happy that I took a shot of him, he took off.

This is a male Brimstone Canary (Crithagra sulphurata) and he had a lovely song.

Another side view of the brimstone.

Must have been a dad out with his son / daughter, as here was the brimstone youngster.

Lovely to get out into nature and to see all these little ones and we really enjoy these brief walks. Every now and then a suprise action like the Robins or a new appearance like the Brimstone pops up and it makes things so worthwhile to get out there.
Life has many quirks, but so does nature and I find the nature ones more pleasant.

And That's All Friends.
