No peace on the roof!

Oh, oh, there was trouble brewing here, as a jealous guy arrived.

Peace in the valley was disturbed due to a love tryst between two Ring-neck doves.

We have about 30 doves of three specie types that eat here every day after the Egyptian geese couple are finished, as then the doves come in to clear the left over bread. It is a special type of bread for birds.
But let's have a look at the event.

The guy had a branch here for a nest and his lady was watching him.

But all of a sudden the other guy arrived and he attacked as you can see.

Now for those that don't know, doves are peaceful birds and they don't have teeth to bite each other.

So, they have to show their strength by trying to outfly each other and the lady was watching.

They do however bump each other fiercely in flight.

The guy that had the branch seemed to be winning this one.

They landed simultaneously to flip up for another go at each other.

And I was right as they were at it again.

Bang! The end of the fight as Harry landed.

Now no little dove, or any army of doves will take on our old war horse Harry, as even the cats and the crows avoid him.
Love has no barriers and that new guy was trying his best in front of the lady, but her guy was a champ and he was prepared to give his life to keep her.
Shouldn't that be the same in our lives?

And That's All Friends!
