This guy looked like he had a serious hangover after a late night binge.
In the meantime he had a swim and sat drying out in a strong wind. The winds are driving some heavy storms inland and the news today talks about hailstones as big as golf balls falling in the desert.
Thankfully we only have the strong winds down south here today and I went out to look for some birds.
So come and see.
He is a Black headed Heron (Ardea melanocephala).
And he sat searching for answers that were blowing in the wind.
This guy had a better idea how to dry his wings and he watched my approach.
He is an African Darter (Anhinga rufa) and he left like a Jet Plane.
It looked like he didn't like my company and I felt aggrieved :)
I used some song lyrics in here for fun and I wonder how many of you would know the songs. In any case I took quite a few bird shots of different species today and will show them all over time. But for now, I hope that this will do and that you will like it.
Our weather is upside down. One day hot and the next day cold and I don't think that even the weatherman knows what's going on.
But such is life here at present and I know that it is similar in other parts of the world.
So, that's all for today friends.
