Hello feathered friends,
Today I toured a nearby lake to rest in the shade under a tree. After only a few minutes, the little egret landed on the concrete bank. She looked around a bit and finally took a walk. This species of bird only nests during the summer in this area. It arrives in April and leaves for the southern parts in September.
During this period it can be seen near aquatic environments where it feeds on various creatures.
Probably used to people, she allowed me to get close enough to her. So I managed to take this series of photos.
Until the moment when a group of people approached the promenade, she was walking calmly. After that, she flew to the middle of the lake, where she settled on branches in the water.
