My entry to this week's SMAP theme is MALE BIRDS. I have been busy clicking photos of birds native to my area as they eat from the birdfeeders using a Nikon D3500 digital camera. I took a quick look at the images I captured on it to see what I have for the contest. Some photos I took using my Samsung smartphone will be included as well.
Here are a few male bird species along with the corresponding names of the breeds, to the best of my knowledge.
MALE AMERICAN GOLDFINCH
MALE HOUSE FINCH
MALE RED CARDINAL
This year we were delighted to see some new faces eating at the feeders, including the next two!
MALE INDIGO BUNTING
MALE ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK

I selected the song "Twist and Shout" to go with my post because it reminds me of male birds' behavior when trying to impress female mates!
Note: If I incorrectly identified the species of the owl, I'd appreciate if someone would kindly let me know in the comments.
I hope you enjoyed all of my "shutter clicks" of MALE BIRDS!
This is my entry to the Show Me A Photo Contest - SMAP Round 67.
