Wagtails in the city

DSC01705-2.jpg

There is a small square not far from my house. There is a playground and a gazebo overlooking the river. People often come to this place to relax by the river. There is an opportunity to feed the ducks that swim in the river.
Wagtails are often seen here. They run along the cobbled sidewalk and pick up fallen food crumbs as passers-by feed the ducks.
Since wagtails often appear in this place, they are already accustomed to people. These wagtails are not as shy as those who live at the edge of the forest.
These wagtails can be approached quite close and they don't run as fast when you try to get close to them.
If you stop and do not move, then these wagtails themselves come quite close.
I deliberately threw bread crumbs on the ground and stood nearby so that the wagtails get used to me.
Indeed, they came quite close and grabbed these bread crumbs with their beaks.
True, the pigeons, who also wanted to nibble on bread crumbs, were in the way. They impudently came close to me and pecked the bread that was intended for wagtails.
