Disheveled jackdaw

DSC00330-2.jpg

This tousled jackdaw must have been after swimming. Recently it rained heavily and there were puddles of water everywhere.
The day was hot and this jackdaw decided to take a refreshing dip in the water. How did she manage to get so wet. This is just amazing.
After all, bird feathers do not get wet. The water just rolls over them. But there are miracles here.
The main thing is that she sits and does not fly away. Probably decided to dry out in the sun.
Or maybe she is waiting for her relatives so that they also try to swim.
Of course the water warmed up after the rain and swimming is a great pleasure for the birds.
After swimming it must be hard for them to fly. Therefore, they sit and wait until the plumage is dry.
It's a pity that none of the birds came again. It would be very interesting to see them swimming.
