SCARLET MACAW IN BRAZIL

During our trip through Brazil, we were able to visit Bonito, a charming town, very close to the Pantanal, one of the most biodiverse areas in the world, here is one of the best places to see wildlife, from jaguars, alligators, anteaters and exotic birds of many species such as toucans, parrots and even the blue parrot, the very same of the Disney movie "Rio".
This time we went on some excursions to some crystalline rivers that run through the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, here I was able to photograph this red Arara, beautiful, I got very close with my 50mm lens for a portrait in super close-up and it did not even flinch, it did not feel threatened, you could tell that it was used to humans despite being free, the araras continually go down to the trails and establishments to eat papayas and all kinds of countless fruits that are in the area.
I always considered myself a bird lover, I think I have a little envy for their ability to fly, that fascinates me and makes me love them in every way, so this was a very nice experience, to photograph a wild parrot, free, without cages and in their natural habitat, nothing better than that.
Its colors so strong and saturated, it is a piece of art of nature itself.

Durante nuestro viaje por Brasil, pudimos conocer Bonito, un pueblo encantador, muy cerca de El Pantanal, una de los zonas con mas biodiversidad del mundo, aquí es uno de los mejores lugares para apreciar vida salvaje, desde jaguares, caimanes, hormigueros y aves exóticas de muchas especies como los tucanes, los papagayos y hasta el papagayo azul el mismísimo de la película de Disney “Rio”.
Esta vez fuimos a realizar unas excursiones a unos ríos cristalinos que corren por el estado de Mato Grosso do Sul, aquí pude fotografiar esta Arara roja, hermosa, me acerque bastante con mi lente 50mm para un retrato en super primer plano y ni siquiera si inmuto, no se sintió amenazada, se notaba que estaba acostumbrada a los humanos a pesar de estar libre, las araras bajan continuamente a los senderos y establecimientos a comer papayas y todo tipo de frutas innumerables que hay en la zona.
Yo siempre me considere un amante de las aves, creo que tengo un poco de envidia por su habilidad de volar, eso me fascina y me hace adorarlas en todas formas, así que esta fue una experiencia muy bonita, poder fotografiar un papagayo salvaje, libre, sin jaulas y en su hábitat natural, nada mejor que eso.
Sus colores tan fuertes y saturados, es una pieza de arte de la naturaleza en si misma.
