Lunchtime Birding

I have often said that my only time for bird watching and photographing is the weekend. Being busy in the office during the week I hardly use my lunch break. But now when the spring arrived and birds can be heard outside, I could not help myself but to sneak for some 10 or 15 minutes. Look what I found these days.

The common chaffinch

Among all the birds that formed a lovely choir, I managed to see the chaffinch only. The rest were somewhere between the branches. The chaffinch was singing heartly and hope he found his partner with whom to make a nest and raise chickens.

Common buzzard

High in the sky a common buzzard reminded about himself. Sometimes buzzards fly too high. I very much wish to have better close-up. Besides it appears that there are quite a lot of different birds of prey who were patrolling and covering vast area.

Wagtail

Next to spot was the wagtail, who I haven't seen since last year. These birds are pretty shy and run away when I get closer. It looks so funny when it marches or runs,

Sparrows

On another day I only have couple of minutes, it was very windy and I thought there would be no birds, but there were some sparrows who used a hole on a wall for their home. Funny thing is to see them in action.

Are they arguing about the interior of their home?

Here comes the designer.

Let's see what we've got here.

There are cracks from the outside, but inside all is intact. You don't need me here. I am off.

Back to business. Don't stand still. Do something.

Of course it was all my imagination and god knows what the birds were up to.

Hope next days to be able to photograph the goldfinches and greenfinches, so let's see.

Till the next time. Have a great day!
