Welcome to #SMaP Show Me A Photo Contest Round 82!

Again I wish to use a topic we had before. This round will be about BIRDS AND FOOD. Let's see what pictures you have showing the bird with its food. Whether it is berries, seeds, insects, show me what you have captured. Let's explore birds diet and learn what our feathered friends prefer to munch.

ROUND 82

BIRD WITH FOOD

My examples start with sparrow who has caught mantis. This is the third time I see sparrows with mantis. I was surprised at first, but sparrows feed not only on seeds and whatever they find in the cities. Insects are important part of their diet.

Then comes the crow who found some food in the fountain left by humans. The crow gobbled it very quickly. I see crows pinching leftovers from rubbish bins.

And the third image is of jackdaw who got cracked wallnut. Jackdaws and crows love walnuts and they mastered the cracking, then they have the delicious nut to peck.
