Heron Breakfast Meditation • Show Me A Photo Contest Round 18

Welcome dear Reader and Feather Lover,

my entry for this round of the Feathered Friends Photo Contest is a Heron (Ardea Cinerea) on the lookout for some fish for breakfast in the morning. In this photo series i wanted to get him more closeup in portrait style so what you don't see is that he's walking around at the shoreline of a little lake indeed looking for prey. When he sees one he snatches it pretty fast and swallows it immediately in whole.
