Its a treat to encounter little ducklings like this, watching them swim and stick together like a little squadron. They wouldn't stray far from each other or their mom as she guided them around. They would dip their little beaks in the water routinely and seemed to be just enjoying the water. I wonder if she knows how many are in her litter and if there is a way she counts to keep track of them all.
