Here is my entry for the smap contest 70 - Birds with open Beaks.
What great timing, I just happened to capture this little one at our feeder this morning. This first pic with it's mouth open is for the contest. The feeders are quite popular with the chickadees and now even more with the larger songbirds since I started adding more of the black sunflower seeds.
