Feathered Friends - Seagulls of the World.

Seagulls we take them for granted like them little sparrow like Seagulls they are everywhere and there are a few species but the most popular Seagull is the common Seagull which they the called the Ring-Billed Gull, this is the most common Seagull you will find on the beaches in summer in parking lots and landfills scavenging for food like the Vulture bird.

I have found observing Seagulls at beaches that they are quite a attractive and intelligent bird never underestimate them they work in close packs and are great hunters stealing food of people, animals and from other birds they are very cunning and fearless and they pass these skills and techniques down to there offspring it's all in the nature of survival.

Seagulls do have a nature of been lazy in hunting for there own food they have similar characteristics to a Vulture bird where they will eat dead things that have been washed up on the beach shorelines and they use there cunning skills to harass other birds stealing there food this I enjoy watching Seagulls do, it always brings a laugh to me when they steal food of people on the beach.

A remarkable thing about Seagulls that I found fascinating to learn is that, they are the only bird or animal that are able to drink salt water due to there unusual glands above there eyes allowing them to eliminate the excess salt from there bodies that is incredible and I find these are the one bird that, I find the easiest to photography why because they will stand still thinking you have food for them as they are mostly to lazy to hunt for there own food they love the easy way out.
