The eleven

IMG_9625.JPG

It's only been coming in about a week or so. From eleven eggs to eleven ducklings. Because once I made a puddle for them, now, provided they see me in the yard, they come closer, and look towards where I made for them a puddle. They really like it. Understandably, because the wild of this species like to live in swamps, lakes and rivers. They drink or practice sloshing in the water as taught by the mother.

Muscovy duck in English (Cairina moschata). Iteik Blati, we call that here. It is native to Mexico and Central and South America as it says. I love the black line behind their eyes. It looked like they were wearing glasses!šŸ˜
