Un Orgulloso Gallo •• A Proud Rooster
La foto que les comparto corresponde a un gallo, en una granja de contacto y en la toma pude captarlo dentro de su jaula, parado en un lugar alto pendiente de los visitantes, mostrando orgullosamente su plumaje.
The photo that I share corresponds to a rooster, in a contact farm and in the shot I was able to capture it inside its cage, standing in a high place pending the visitors.
A veces por la familiaridad de verlas todos los días, pasamos por alto la belleza propia de las aves domesticas o aves de corral. Mismas que nos acompañan desde hace más de 5.400 millones de años Según Wikipedia[1] Ellas brindan no solo alimento sino también muchos otros beneficios al hombre, como los economicos a partir del momento que decidimos criarlas en cautiverio.

Recordemos que algunas aves también las criamos como aves de compañía (caso de los loros y péricos y cacatúas, entre otras, pero como dije al inicio un gallo, pollo o gallina también nos pueden "deleitar" por su belleza, especialmente los gallos por su brillante y colorido plumaje.

Estas emplumadas pertenecen al orden de la gallináceas, su especie es: Gallus gallus domesticus. Cuyos machos tienden a ser muy territoriales y agresivos con otros machos (los usamos en peleas) lo que les otorga auin aire de orgulloso mandamas del corral.
These feathered ones belong to the order of gallinaceous, their species is: Gallus gallus domesticus. Whose males tend to be very territorial and aggressive with other males (we use them in fights) which gives them an air of proud barnyard boss.
