Here is my post for this time smap contest 100. The new year comes with real winter here. On new year's eve, the weather was so bad I was thinking because of -6c cold weather and icy roads there will be fewer fireworks. But people wanted to enjoy fireworks. so it was a lot of fireworks around and all birds were confused and flying around to find a safe place. It was very bad.
For a couple of days, we couldn't see any birds around. But on 3rd January a little bit of sunshine makes us go walking. we prepared to walk slippery and icy roads very carefully and not so far close to the sea.
As soon as come out of the house I noticed this common redpoll on the tree of our neighbor's garden where he put a feeder for them.
We come close to the harbor and there I had seen party group.
As I mentioned we had -6c but no snow those days. But rainwater made ice all over even in the sea. and few seagulls are standing on the ice that formed on the sea. thinking about how to get food for a party.
After all, a mother is a mother to take care of the baby here is Mumma seagull with her hungry child.
