This was one of the toughest shots that i took..really hard to capture the Pelican since its a master of hiding and its really fast.Between the trees and wait patiently until it was very well focused to take it next to the moon and the trees.
The moon is so bright tonight I couldn’t help but get my camera out to zoom in and just appreciate how spectacular it looks tonight.While I was out walking during a hard day's work, I decided to look out the window and said that I go out very near the hotel to see nature with the birds before it gets dark.near the hotel to see nature with the birds before it gets dark.
Tufted Titmouse make me smile. There is something about the crest on that tiny little bird that makes me think of a small boy with a mohawk trying to act tough. It makes you want to hug them. These perky little birds have expanded their range considerably since the middle of the 20th Century when they were only found in River.
This image is a composite of two images, a Moon image and a sky/foreground image. Both images were shot from my front yard from the same tripod location and same camera and lens. The images were edited in lightroom and blended in photoshop for this final image.
