My collection of different birds is growing and I am really happy that I was already able to see more than 175 different species. The red-footed falcon is a seldom bird here in austria and this is why I am more than happy that I have already seen it. The species occurs in large numbers in Hungary, but here in Austria it is rather seldom. I was able to find it in Austria at the border to Hungary and could take several pictures of it. The red-footed falcon is like most falcons a bird of prey and hunts smaller birds, insects, reptiles and amphibians. At the spot where I was looking for the eurasian hopoe I manged to find this bird nearby.
