Little Ringed Plover - Beautiful Feathered Friend

I am already looking forward to spring with great anticipation and now even a little bit more since a friend of mine is moving from Vienna to Linz at the moment and we already arranged some appointments when we will go for photohunting together. He is a very good Macro Photographer and I am looking forward to learn some great techniques from him. And of course a lot of bird will return from their wintering spots in the south and I hope this coming year I will be able to take some really nice pictures of birds again. Maybe some pictures of rare birds that are only here during migration. We'll see since several things have to act together for some great pictures and fun in the wild. And also exploring some Macro and Insect photography will be an interesting topic for me next year.

Since the water level of the danube is not always suitable for birds like the little ringed plover to breed and hunt for insects I hope that next year in late spring the levels of the danube are moderate so I can find these little ringed plovers at their breeding ground underneath the Water Power Plant. Good that I now some other spots for taking pictures of the little ringed plover too but the bad thing there is that I cannot get so close to the birds and the angle of the photography would be different and not so appealing.
