Collection of some recent bird pictures

On my different photography trips in the forrests and in urban spots I encounter a variety of different birds and since some of the birds are more commen here in Austria, some species are not as spectacular to me as other more seldom species. But still they also deserve to be noticed. The common blackbird is one of these species that is mor common but I still like it since it often comes very close to my camera. Here in these first pictures you can see a female common blackbird. I really like the song of the male blackbird as it has a very nice and pleasant call.

Then there is the Eurasian blackcap that is also very common in the woods and I already took several pictures of this bird at different locations. Same applies for the Common chaffinch that is probably the second frequent bird in Europe. The common chiffchaff or Zilpzalp in German is usually known for its song and that the bird is calling its own name whenever it is singing.

The Common chaffinch is also one of the more popular birds here since it can be seen very often. And when you walk through a park or a forest you will definitely also hear it very often.
