WHICH FENCE IS BEST ? #smap 19

This my entry in #smap round 19...bird and fence.

When it comes to birds and fences we've got it covered. The newest addition to our bird watching pleasure is a cedar birdhouse. The birdhouse is for suet blocks, first time I have tried luring the birds in with this type of feed. Our feathered friends seem to be enjoying it very much. It took a few days for them to discover the new fence around the house, but once it was found, they kept coming back for more.

Not that the old fence had lost it's allure, the finches kept piling on for the breakfast feast that gets served every day here on the homestead.

This little guy decided a little variety was in order on this glorious Sunday morning. He dropped by for a bite and a Happy Mother's Day wish for me.

A nice hearty seed mix has always brought these pretty birds to the fence and feeders as I sit and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Although he's a bird, he had no trouble pigging out on the new food source, in a nice house with a wrought iron fence.

So which fence is best? hummm? Mr. Blue is contemplating.

Happy Mother's Day to one and all. We are the lucky ones who can light up the world with love.

Many thanks to the #featheredfriends community and the entire team that keep our joint jumping and flying.❤️
