In this case we have this little friend posing on the air conditioning tube, also as a curious fact about this species that is so common in Venezuela, I have also seen it here in Montevideo, more than anything in spring and summer.
¿Cómo se encuentra mi querida comunidad de Hive? espero que muy bien, hoy vengo a compartirles un poco sobre aves, vengo a participar en la semana 60 de @featheredfriend donde nos invitan a mostrar fotos de aves con cosas hechas por humanos.
En este caso tenemos a este pequeño amigo posando sobre el tubo del aire acondicionado, además como dato curioso a este especie que es tan comun en Venezuela también la he visto acá en Montevideo, más que todo en primavera y verano.
Today I bring you a Cristofue, as it is usually called in my country, although it is also known as Bienteveo, yellow chest or pistoque, it is a small bird approximately 25 cm tall but its wings are long so its length must be greater in width , has a yellow chest, black head and beak, although it has two stripes like large white eyebrows, its wings and tail are brown and some have a yellow crest.
Hoy les traigo un Cristofue, como suele llamarse en mi pais, aunque también se le conoce como Bienteveo, pecho amarillo o pistoque, es un pajaro pequeño de aproximadamente 25 cm de alto pero sus alas son largas asi que de ancho su longitud debe ser mayor, tiene el pecho amarillo, la cabeza y el pico negro, aunque tiene dos franjas como grandes cejas blancas, sus alas y cola son de un color marrón y algunos tienen un copete amarillo.
These little birds are called Cristofue in Venezuela because their characteristic sound is as they say "CrisToFue" that is, a song in three tunes, the first higher, the second lower and the third longer.
In some places it is believed that when a Cristofue sings happily several times near the house it is because an unexpected visit is approaching or because someone is pregnant.
Estos pequeños pajaritos se les llama Cristofue en Venezuela porque su sonido característicos es como se dijera "CrisToFue" es decir un canto en tres tonadas la primera mas aguda, la segunda baja y la tercera mas larga.
En algunos lugares se tiene la creencia que cuando un Cristofue canta alegre varias veces cerca de la casa es porque se aproxima una visita inesperada o porque alguien esta embarazada.
I took all the photos in the building where I lived in Venezuela, specifically on the balcony of my friend Ledymar's apartment, the prolonged visit of our Cristofue was due to the fact that months before, my friend had left some Christmas wreaths on the balcony that they were already dry.
Then our beautiful Cristofue saw the opportunity and together with many other branches created a nest on the balcony next to the air conditioner, it was not until we saw the couple that we realized the nest, obviously we did not touch it, but we did take advantage of taking some photos.
Todas las fotos las tome en el edficio donde vivía en Venezuela, específicamente en el balcón del apartamento de mi amiga Ledymar, la visita prolongada de nuestro Cristofue se debía a que meses antes, mi amiga había dejado en el balc+on unas coronas navideñas que ya estaban secas.
Entonces nuestro lindo Cristofue, vio la oportunidad y junto a muchas otras ramas creo un nido en el balcón al lado del aire acondicionado, no fue hasta que vimos la pareja que nos dimos cuenta del nido, obviamente no lo tocamos, pero si aprovechamos de tomar algunas fotos.

We had to close the window because we believe that because of us being very close, she felt her nest threatened and she almost attacked us fluttering nearby, then she stood in the air and saw what we were doing at my friend's house, my poor friend passed by like a week without watering the plants so as not to disturb the Cristofue.
Le pusimos un plato con agua y otro plato con arroz y fruta, al principio cantaba contento pero al rato luego de estar viéndolo y tomándole fotos por un tiempo pronlongado empezó a molestarse y cambio en canto.
Tuvimos que cerrar la ventana porque creemos que por nosotras estar muy cerca, sentía su nido amenazado y casi nos ataca revoloteando cerca, luego se quedaba parado sobre el aire y veía que estabamos haciendo en la casa de mi amiga, mi pobre amiga paso como una semana sin regar las plantas para no molestar al Cristofue.
