Today is the last celebration of July, it's her birthday and since I was in my native, yesterday I prepared this collage for her and sent at 5 am in the morning, as soon as I got up. Though I am novice in design, I feel slowly I am developing a sense of which design would fit the occasion and person, and Canva provides so many templates, it literally took 2-3 hours to choose the design template. And then adding several graphics, I was finally able to finish , choosing some of the recent best three photos from our collection. Canva does provide an mp4 version, where I was able to add a little sound effect from their free library. The video version definitely adds more excitement while sharing on status.
This year, I thought to give her a surprise and come here to present her a flower bookay. So without letting her know, I finished my work at my native and came back picking up a lovely flower bookay, having same number of roses matching her age. While I was coming back, she called me few times to talk, but I intentionally did not pick up to hold all her excitements. And finally when I reached she was so happy to see me. And the flower bookay made her day - this is the very first time, I presented her such a big flower bookay at her birthday. Seems, as we are getting older, the love is getting better like wine. We both realize that our responsibilities have drained us a lot, but then, the company of each other, provides the confidence and energy to take care of everyone in the family, especially parents. I was happy to take care of Mom's urgent needs and come back on this day.
We did a photo shoot on the roof top, to remember this special day, the camera did show its magic.
And to celebrate the evening, she invited her schoolmate and best friend and his sister to our home.
They came with a lovely cake, that was customized for her, making it special.
I usually never eat cake, but it was so tasty that I could not resist. After celebrating the cake cutting ceremony, she served some delicious foods prepared at home, and kudos to her for doing all these herself with very little help from us.
Overall the day has been very special for her, making her feel special and very happy. We always enjoy celebrating birthdays in a simple way at home, with good friends and good food - it's the love and togetherness that matters more. Here is a video capture to be kept in memories :
And before I wrap this post, I must tell you a fun fact - that necklace she is wearing took two years in making - more to come on that...
