When I was younger, my mom told me that there would be people who would come into my life for a reason. She also said that sometimes I won't not know what the reason is at that moment. I've never forgotten that. However, I have come to know that what she told me was true.
Over the years, I've met numerous such individuals. One such person was @jongolson. Were it not for his Click Track Profit (CTP) training videos in 2019 that introduced the members, including myself, to the blockchain, I would have never overcame my fear of the world of cryptocurrency. And thus joined the blockchain on July 29, 2019.
Seeing that I was reluctant to even join the blockchain, I never thought I'd still be here to publish this post today in celebration my 2-year anniversary. What I have learned and accomplished these past two years is a testament to the wonderful individuals I met from day one who helped guide and instruct me. These life lessons I'll never forget.
However, since I've been here, it's been a busy two years. I memember being introduced immediately to @theterminal discord. I was told this place was where member members at the time on the old blockchain could go to get help with any questions they had and learn.
Not only did I like it so much that, when it was time for me to graduate from my Redfish status in the Redfish Rally monthly program and move on, I didn't want to leave. The conducive atmosphere and friendly people were addictive.
I became a member of their Staff. My only desire was to pay it forward to other new members and impart to them the little knowledge I received. Just like the Terminal, I want other small account to succeed. So far, I still love to help others. I'll forever be grateful for The Terminal and their staff at the time for helping me succeed.
When you start a new venture, you never really know where you'll land in the midst of everything around you. That new social platform was different from anything I'd known. It was like a maze. And just like anything new, it takes time to find where you fit in. There were so many avenues for me to pursue. I have always loved to write fiction. I put it away for many years. Once I learned how I could resume my writing in the various communities of like-minded individuals, I was off to the races.
Blogging:
From the moment I published my first post, I knew what direction I was headed. Writing is my passion. Fiction is my favorite genre. I discovered the Freewrite (@mariannewest) and The Ink Week (@theinkwell) Communities.
I've written over fifty freewrite stories from daily prompts, including a series. The Ink Well has provided me the opportunity to write several fiction stories in their festivals, weekly writing challenges, and contests.
Digital Art:
I discovered my love of digital art a few years ago. The contests and challenges available on Hive give me the opportunity to showcase my work. I'm a bit "out there" in terms of my style, but sometimes others can decipher what the heck I was thinking!
I especially love creating collages and specific types of digital art. I recently tokenized some of my works.
With all that I have accomplished in my writing and digital art work, I took the time to explore what other features the blockchain had to offer. The numerous communities afforded me the chance to engage with others. I've met so many nice people traveling through my two-year journey that it would be impossible to name them all here. Just know I'm thinking of you.
This is especially true of the individuals who decided to FOLLOW my journey on Hive. Others have supported me faithfully each week. Without you, I would not have had the success I enjoy today. Just look what small steps I've accomplished! I send a hearty THANK YOU.

I look back on my two years. It doesn't seem like I've accomplished as much as I could have. I feel that I have a long journey ahead. I'm still learning about cryptocurrency. I'll keep active as long as the desire is there.
