Hello everyone, awesome Silver Bloggers!
A few days ago, we posted a brief reflection on our community, and if you haven't yet stopped by to read it, we invite you to do so.
Likewise, if you haven't visited the winners and mentions of our August edition of #BOM and missed some of the amazing posts, we encourage you to go read them. If you'd like to continue to support the authors, you can leave a tip. (The web versions of @peakd and @ecency offer this possibility).
Also, we want to keep our Silver Bloggers active and writing in the community. And we know it's sometimes hard to decide what to write about. Writer's block is one thing, so we are going to suggest as is becoming customary a new writing prompt.
Silver Prompt 4: Photo Memories
Yesterday, we were deciding in our mods group on Discord what could be the topic of a new writing prompt. And inspired by a post from @ifarmgirl, Silver Blonde Lizzie suggested writing a post inspired by one or several pictures.
So what we propose this time is to write something inspired by one or more of your own photographs - they must be your own:
- Some memories of places or people that those photos bring to your memory.
- Or If you prefer to do some creative writing like Silver Farm Girl, can write a fictional story using some of your photos as inspiration, or you can write one of those factions that Silver Scot likes so much, mixing fiction with reality.
How to join the Silver Prompt
- Write about some of your memories evoked by one or more photographs.
- Write 100% original content of at least 300 words
- Post in the Silver Bloggers Community and use #SilverPrompts as the first tag
- Have fun
- Deadline is at midnight GMT (also known as UTC) on Thursday 8 September 2022

There will be no prizes for this initiative - depending on how things unfold, that could change...or not. And selected blogs will be included in a special #SilverPrompts curation post.
Bonus
Also, the bonus will be that your blogs may be selected by the moderation team and recommended to the OCD team for additional support, plus we will get to know you a little better.

The Silver Bloggers' community continues to grow. At the moment of writing this, we have 1,412 subscribers, and of these, 130 are active.
