We had seven entries that met all the criteria and two that didn't because either the links were not dropped in Discord or in the comments on the announcement post. ## But first The usual bit of housekeeping: the number of Silverbloggers continues to increase and we're now at nearly 1,330. That said, activity seems to have slid a little and it's probably because of the Northern Hemisphere summer (you lucky people) and the way Hive (crypto) has tanked. That said, it did have a mini-spike this week, so fingers crossed. ### As always - a thank you To everybody who contributes to making this a fun community and especially to our delegators. The Dude @mondoshawan took us back to [chalk boards and "proper" telephones](https://peakd.com/hive-106316/@mondoshawan/silver-bloggers-blog-of-the-month-july-2022) while @lizelle reminded us of how we used to "go" to the [theatre of the mind](https://peakd.com/hive-106316/@lizelle/radio-theatre-blog-of-the-month-june-2022). Who remembers video and phone boxes? @coquicoin [did](https://peakd.com/hive-106316/@coquicoin/have-you-ever-used-them) although when she found the phone cards, she was looking for something else. I, on the other hand, went down a memory lane of a different sort, and one I trust [today's young folk will never experience](https://peakd.com/hive-106316/@fionasfavourites/thedyingmemoriesofthe1980slookingbacktolookatthenow-0fr7ijsrbsgcqzw3lr27).
