Everyday is definitely not a Sunday

Retirement conjures up a life of relaxation, rest, self initiated hobbies and travelling, the world is 'your oyster' in the minds of younger work colleagues and the adult kinds. They are not entirely wrong and not entirely right either. There is no black and white rule for retirees.

Plenty of silver haired retirees venture into all sorts of lifestyle business, purchase farms or have a complete life change living as wanderers in caravans. etc, and good on them for following their dreams. Whatever makes them happy, it is highly individual.

Choosing an overly busy working retirement life was not for us. So a move from one seaside place to another at the Sunshine Coast was our choice. It sounded just right for our lifestyle, relaxing and energetic with a blend of quiet alone time and busy family time. Perfect, everyday will be a Sunday was my thinking. How wrong was I?

Everyday is definitely not a Sunday. Life does not flow that way even in retirement; renovations, looking after grandchildren, unexpected chaotic mayhem with fridges, dishwashers, washing machines computers occur without warning and send us in a spiral of searching for replacements. These days are definitely not the relaxing Sundays I like.

Goodbye and appreciate you dropping in to read my post

But hey, I have time the next day to zen out and "om "in much needed balance. Feet up sipping chilled white wine looking at the flowers in the garden chills me out to make it feel like one of those Sundays I love in retirement. #alwaysaflower time with many thanks to the lovely @dsiwgle.
