The HiveFest⁵ is over. For me, the first-day impression was great. The VR environment, was for me, a completely new experience. Some will criticize, there were some technical errors, but this was really minor.
For the first time to organize such a complex technical matter you have to really have "balls".
So congratulations to @roelandp for making sure everything went as it should.
More important to me seems to be that a new space has opened up for content from the Hive blockchain that can be distributed in VR as events/exhibitions/worlds/whatever you want and this content will be accessible to external visitors. I see this as a new channel and new opportunity for distributing not only Hive content but also Hive ideas about decentralization.

Well, here I will quickly restore the second day, which was, in my opinion, of course, even better than the first. All lecturers, to name a few @roelandp (moderator, without whom, I must point out, there would be nothing), @jacobgadikian, @arcange, @crimsonclad, @theycallmedan, @starkerz, @khaleelkazi, @enginewitty, @martibis, @scrooger, @rollie1212, @lukestokes, @hellomsq, @tyhran, @detlev, @themarkymark, they were great and completely met my expectations.

So, judging by the presentations (and a bunch of pictures above 😎), the Hive community is very much alive and a lot will be happening next year. New technologies will prevail, including new tokens, data exchange between blockchains, and, above all, games.
There was talk of existing games and even more about new games coming to the Hive blockchain. It is known why new decentralized games are coming to Hive - speed, scalability, low costs for transactions (compared to Ether), etc ...
