Distriator provides cashback when you spend Bitcoin Lightning or Hive Backed Dollars ($HBD) if you document your purchases with Social Media on the Hive Blockchain.
By spending Lightning and Hive Backed Dollars in businesses, you can benefit as follows:
You and the business must have Hive accounts.
1) Attend a business that accepts Hive Backed Dollar or Lightning payments.
2) Make sure they issue you a QR invoice from either V4V.app or Hive Keychain Store.
3) It is advisable to use your alternate account to your main account, and add it to your Hive Keychain with posting and active keys.
4) Make sure there are adequate Hive Backed Dollars in your balance on the account you will pay with
5) Pay the invoice by scanning from your Keychain app.
6) Visit Hive-Distrion.app within 30 minutes of your purchase and log in with the SAME account that you paid with.
7) Click claim.
8) The app will ask you to take 2 to 10 photos of your purchase experience at the business.
9) The app will ask you to write a sentence about your experience at the business.
10) Click to proceed and sign the transaction.
11) The app will congratulate you on a successful claim.
12) Check your wallet history and see your claim has been paid in!
Distriator will send you instant liquid Hive Backed Dollar rewards for doing this from between 35 and 60% of your purchase value. The more you use the app the higher your cashback rewards will be, additionally, over time we will integrate a reputation system so that you have the opportunity to be rewarded for using the app more frequently.
In the back ground, the app posts a post to the Hive blockchain via your Hive account (which is why, if you use the app regularly to claim cashback, we recommend you use an alternative account to your main account) and takes a beneficiary from the rewards of that post to cover the cost of this instant cashback paid.
Distriator DOES NOT make a profit doing this since any surplus beneficiary funds will be sent back out to the community in the form of prizes in competitions for those who spend Bitcoin Lightning and Hive Dollars the most frequently and use the app to make claims.
You can follow the Hive account @distriator.bene/transfers to confirm that all money coming into Distriator from beneficiaries is sent back out to the community members that spend the most frequently.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR EXISTING HIVEANS: If you intend to use Distriator regularly to claim, and are already a frequent content poster to Hive, it is advised to create an alternative to your main Hive account. This is because your post feed will be full of short Distriator posts about how you are claiming wonderful cashback from businesses. While you are lovely, we are sure that people following your main account for your social content won't want to see too much of that in their feeds.
Distriator can be a great way to expand Hive and BTC lightning payments in the real world. Bitcoiners can spend BTC and mine Hive Backed Dollar stable coins by claiming their cashback with Distriator!!
The spends are done transparently, in legitimate businesses, so documenting the transactions on the blockchain with content and making claims based on this is incredibly valuable and difficult to game.
As the network affect takes hold, Hive Backed Dollars will distribute further.
Earn Passively:
As more Bitcoiners and Hiveans use the system to claim rewards and a network affect will take hold. Hive Backed Dollars will spread to more accounts.
1. At the moment, we can use 
to create new profiles of businesses.
2. As you visit and spend in these places using the traditional economy, create reviews and tag #spendhbd, we can add these reviews to the businesses’ profiles, while rewarding the Hiveans making the reviews with Hive upvotes.
3. Once there are at least 2-5 reviews about the businesses, you can approach the owner asking if they want to open EITHER a BITCOIN account or a Hive account.
4. By opening a Hive account the business now automatically accepts both Bitcoin Lightning payments (if payment is made using V4V.app) and Hive Backed Dollar payments.
5. We can focus on Businesses that already accept lightning if we wish, since these businesses are more open to payment in alternative currencies and will often be looking for a stable unit of account to complement their Lightning payments (Many of the businesses in SpendHBD.social.gifts already accept BTC lighting and we are adding more all the time).
6. Once the businesses have Hive accounts, their clients will receive between 35 and 60% cashback on their purchases if they spend in either lighting BTC or Hive Backed Dollars and claim using the Distriator application.
7. If our Trusted Guides approve, whomever was involved in the previous 7 steps to onboard the business will earn passive rewards from the cashback paid out in Hive Backed Dollars.
In this way, the Hive community has a great opportunity to add more businesses to the Bitcoin and wider parallel economic system than anyone else. This is a realistic and honourable milestone to aim for!

As Distriator grows, and more businesses take part, there are two ways the system can make money:
1) Asking businesses to subscribe each month in exchange for being whitelisted and therefore having bitcoiners and Hiveans directed to their businesses.
2) Working with the businesses to set up paid rewards campaigns where the business pays in a certain amount for their campaign and the Trusted Guides work with them to reward users for spending, posting reviews and sharing content to other social media.
Distriator is not Open source at the moment, as we are in the early phases of sprint development. We do plan to make an open source public repository once we are happy the code is optimised fully. More information to follow on this.
