Happy week Open Mic folks! With the narrative theme, today I present an original song by Paraguayan Guillermo Breel entitled El Pájaro Chagüí, composed in 1945. On the fourth my husband @armandolnrs accompanies me and we recorded this video with our Yezz 1 Max Plus. We use PhotoDirector for editing. I hope you like this duet that we did with a lot of love for the weekly theme. God bless you all !.

Chagüí Bird

Legend has it that in a tree
A Guarani Indian was perched
That startled by a cry from his mother
He lost support, and falling he died

And that between the maternal arms
By strange spell, chogüí became

Chogüí, chogüí, chogüí, chogüí
He is singing, looking here
Looking there, flying away
Chogüí, chogüí, chogüí, chogüí
How nice it is, how nice it goes
Getting lost in guaraní sky

And from that day the little Indian is remembered
When it sounds like an echo to the chogüí
That happy and boisterous song
Of the precious orange tree that repeats its song
Jump and peck the oranges
Which is your favorite fruit, repeating endlessly

Chogüí, chogüí, chogüí, chogüí
Singing is, looking there
Crying and flying away
Chogüí, chogüí, chogüí, chogüí
How cute it is, how beautiful it is
Getting lost in guaraní sky
