Mi querida comunidad de melómanos, en esta semana 127, @okayozdemiroglu, nuestro reciente Artista Destacado nos hizo vibrar en la frecuencia de la Humildad expresada en la palabra “Tevazu” del turco, idioma oficial de Turquía y Chipre y que es hablado como lengua materna por una parte de la población de otras nueve repúblicas. La humildad, según la definición del diccionario de la Real Academia de la Lengua Española (RAE) es la "Virtud que consiste en el conocimiento de las propias limitaciones y debilidades y en obrar de acuerdo con este conocimiento".,de%20acuerdo%20con%20este%20conocimiento.). Hoy traigo la canción “Reverón”tributo que le brindara a Armando Reverón (artista plástico venezolano y uno de los pintores más representativos del estilo impresionista, verdadero genio del impresionismo) el recordado cantautor Alí Primera.
Reverón fue un hombre sumamente humilde, de sencillo vestir, larga y poblada barba, con apariencia, quizá, de ermitaño. Su genialidad fue reconocida de manera póstuma y sus obras actualmente ocupan lugares privilegiados en museos internacionales. En vida e cambiaban una obra por una botella de ron. Actualmente una obra suya se cotiza a partir de los 250 mil dólares Juanita, su compañera de toda la vida, fue también su modelo estrella. Otras veces lo eran las muñecas de trapo de tamaño natural que hacía desde su experiencia de titiritero. Los “entendidos en arte” durante su vida le decían que sus pinturas no tenían valor alguno. Le cambiaban un cuadro por una botella de ron o un plato de comida.

Alí Primera (Coro, Venezuela, 31 de octubre de 1941-Caracas, Venezuela, 16 de febrero de 1985), inolvidable cantautor venezolano a quien debemos este hermoso homenaje a Armando Reverón, fue también cuatrista y se caracterizó por tener, la mayoría de sus composiciones, un matiz de denuncia. Entre sus piezas más emblemáticas tenemos: “Tin Marín”, “Cunaviche adentro”, “Canción Mansa para un Pueblo Bravo”. Escuchemos la interpretación que hace de “Reverón” en el siguiente video.
