Greetings, Hive Open Mic family and community! It’s a pleasure and an honor to meet with you every week to express my music around a common topic and enjoy the presentations of all the talented participants.
This week's theme is Passion for Art, and it catches my attention because as a musician I love art in all its forms, as I consider it a sublime expression of our deepest feelings and emotions through various channels.
Today I bring you a form of art in the guitar world as is the Fingerstyle, which seeks to achieve both the rhythmic and the melodic parts of a piece of music simultaneously, and although this is a fairly modest work, I want to continue delving into this technique and try to refine it. This instrumental titled Episode belongs to the Finnish Melodic Power Metal band Stratovarius, and is part of the album of the same name, released in 1996.

¡Saludos, familia y comunidad de Hive Open Mic! Es un placer y un honor encontrarme con ustedes cada semana para expresar mi música en torno a un tópico común y así mismo disfrutar de las presentaciones de todos los talentosos participantes.
Esta semana nos convoca la temática Pasión por el Arte, y me llama mucho la atención porque como músico amo el arte en todas sus formas, ya que lo considero una expresión sublime de nuestros más profundos sentimientos y emociones por medio de diversos canales.
El día de hoy les traigo una forme de arte en el mundo guitarrístico como lo es el Fingerstyle, en la cual se procura lograr tanto la rítmica como la parte melódica de un pieza musical de forma simultánea, y aunque este es un trabajo bastante modesto, deseo seguir ahondando en esta técnica y tratar de depurarla. Este instrumental titulado Episode pertenece a la banda finlandesa de Power Metal Melódico Stratovarius, y forma parte del álbum homónimo, publicado en 1996.
