Merry Christmas, beloved Hive Open Mic community! I bring you my most sincere wishes for peace and harmony this holiday season; may Baby Jesus be born in each of our hearts, and for those of you with diverse beliefs, I wish you much peace, prosperity and love.
We are in week 142, which theme is Our Destiny. In this sense I believe that our life, beyond being already predestined to something, which I don’t doubt that for some it works like that, that path is forged by ourselves based on effort, following our dreams and our instincts, and keeping faith in what we believe and what we want to achieve.
Today, I am pleased to bring you a beautiful song in the context of Christmas Eve that we just celebrated 2 days ago. It is the carol Silent Night, Holy Night, written in 1816 by the Austrian priest Joseph Mohr, with music by the organist, also Austrian, Franz Xaver Gruber. It is worth noting that this piece has been versioned in many languages and has been adapted with different lyrics, being declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2011. I hope that my simple version in voice and Cuatro will be to everyone's liking.

¡Feliz Navidad, amada comunidad de Hive Open Mic! Les traigo mis más sinceros deseos de paz y armonía en estas fiestas; que el Niño Jesús nazca en cada uno de nuestros corazones, y para quienes tienen diversas creencias, les deseo igualmente mucha paz, prosperidad y amor.
Nos encontramos en la semana 142, cuya temática es Nuestro Destino. En este sentido considero que nuestra vida, más allá de estar ya predestinada a algo, que no dudo que para algunas funcione así, ese sendero lo vamos forjando nosotros mismos a base de esfuerzo, de seguir nuestros sueños y nuestros instintos, y de mantener la fe en lo que creemos y en lo que deseamos lograr.
Hoy, me complace traerles un hermoso tema en el marco de la Nochebuena que acabamos de celebrar hace apenas 2 días. Se trata del villancico Noche de Paz, Noche de Amor, escrito en 1816 por el sacerdote austriaco Joseph Mohr, con música del organista, también austriaco, Franz Xaver Gruber. Cabe destacar que esta pieza ha sido versionada en muchos idiomas y ha sido adaptado con diferentes líricas, siendo declarada Patrimonio cultural inmaterial de la Humanidad en el año 2011. Espero que mi sencilla versión en voz y Cuatro sea del agrado de todos.
