Welcome to Hive Open Mic Week 127!
My birthday was this past Friday, on the 9th. I turned 52 that day and pulled an 11 hour shift at the dispensary.
When one gets older, it feels very often as if you are slipping away or into the background. At least that's how it feels to me. I guess that's the natural way of things, time moves faster, friends and family leave for the great unknown. It is in some sense a sad time but I am not really a sad person. I've accepted our collective fate. The one thing that I will mourn the most is if I lose my ability to play and perform music...
Anyway, enough of my rambling. Enjoy the music 🤘

¡Bienvenidos a la semana 127 de micrófono abierto de Hive!
Mi cumpleaños fue el pasado viernes, día 9. Cumplí 52 años ese día y realicé un turno de 11 horas en el dispensario.
Cuando uno envejece, muy a menudo se siente como si se estuviera escabullendo o pasando a un segundo plano. Al menos eso es lo que siento para mí. Supongo que esa es la forma natural de las cosas, el tiempo pasa más rápido, los amigos y la familia parten hacia lo desconocido. En cierto sentido, es un momento triste, pero en realidad no soy una persona triste. He aceptado nuestro destino colectivo. Lo que más lloraré es si pierdo mi habilidad para tocar e interpretar música...
De todos modos, suficiente de mi divagación. Disfruta de la música 🤘
