Hello friends. I hope you are very well this is my first direct post in this community and I hope to continue publishing different things related to music through this medium.

On this occasion I want to share with you an arrangement that I made a little over 3 years ago, along with some fellow musicians who I have basically counted on for some of my projects.

It is a song by a Christian music group called "HILLSONG" and the idea basically to make a different arrangement to the original song, part of a phone call where my partner Elvis Amaya (the drummer that appears in the video) invites me to his home so we can listen to the album and especially that song.

As soon as I heard the song, I knew that something good could come out of it.

The melody was very fresh and the harmony was originally very simple but tasty, so something different could be done not only harmonically and melodically but also in the rhythmic aspect, so ideas began to come to my head and I was translating them into a model, exactly 2 days later, the arrangement was finalized and we began the recording process.

The recording process was quite fun, having a demo the first thing we recorded were the drums, then the guitars with our brother Jose Sosa (Dallas, tx) the pianos and the synthesizers with our dear friend Roberto Andrade who at that time and until the Today's sun lives in Bogotá, the voice with a girl who studied with me at the university "Jennifer Delgado" and finally I recorded the electric bass.

Our capture engineer was the great Eliel Ferrer, a talented and proactive young man, with whom I have had the pleasure of working on other occasions for different projects.

And the Mixing Engineer and Master, my brother, Ronner Urbina, an excellent violinist, pianist, producer, composer, and also an engineer.

Hola amigos Espero esté muy bien este es mi primer post directo en esta comunidad y espero poder seguir publicando diferentes cosas referente a la música por este medio.

En esta ocasión quiero compartir con ustedes, un arreglo qué hice hace poco más de 3 años, junto con algunos compañeros músicos con quién es básicamente he contado para algunos de mis proyectos.

Es una canción de un grupo de música cristiana llamado "HILLSONG"y la idea básicamente de hacerle un arreglo diferente a la canción original, parte de una llamada telefónica donde mi compañero Elvis Amaya (el baterista que aparece en el video) me invita a su casa para que escuchemos el disco y en especial esa canción.

Inmediatamente que escuche la canción supe que podría salir algo bueno de ahí.

La melodía era muy fresca y la armonía originalmente era muy simple pero sabrosa, así que se podría hacer algo diferente no sólo armónica y melódicamente sino también en el aspecto ritmico, así que comenzaron a llegar ideas a mi cabeza y fui plasmandolas en una maqueta, exactamente 2 días después ya el arreglo estaba concretado y comenzamos el proceso de grabación.

El proceso de grabación fue bastante divertido, teniendo una maqueta lo primero que grabamos fueron las baterías, luego las guitarras con nuestro hermano Jose Sosa (Dallas,tx) los pianos y los sintetizadores con nuestro querido amigo Roberto Andrade que en ese momento y hasta el sol de hoy vive en Bogotá, la voz con una chica que estudió conmigo en la universidad "Jennifer Delgado" y por último grabé yo el bajo eléctrico.

Nuestro ingeniero de captura fue el gran Eliel Ferrer, un joven talentoso y proactivo, con el cual he tenido el gusto de trabajar en otras ocasiones para diferentes proyectos.

Y el Ingeniero de Mezcla y Máster, mi hermano, Ronner Urbina, excelente violinista, pianista, productor, compositor, y también ingeniero.
