Hello Family, I have asked permission again to my Hive Open Mic team to write these lines outside the dynamics of our community, but at the same time it is my home within the great ecosystem of Hive and I feel very identified in this space. Today we are seven days since we took the emergency to the Central Hospital of Maracay in Venezuela and I wanted to share some progress with you who have helped me so much despite the distance and not knowing each other in person.
¡Hola Familia, he solicitado permiso nuevamente a mi equipo de Hive Open Mic para poder redactar estas líneas ajenas a la dinámica de nuestra comunidad, pero a la vez es mi casa dentro del gran ecosistema de Hive y me siento muy identificado en este espacio. Hoy cumplimos siete días desde que llevamos de urgencia al Hospital Central de Maracay en Venezuela y quería compartir algunos avances con ustedes que tanto me han ayudado a pesar de la distancia y de no conocernos en persona.
First I need to thank all the people who have helped us through prayers, sending good vibes to my dad's health who was really bad at the time of entering. I also want to highlight all the users who have made financial contributions to my wallet. Seven days in a public hospital in a country like Venezuela consumes a lot of energy and money, not only for the patient, but also for the family members who accompany him. A thousand thanks to all of you for your generosity and I hope that life will allow me to continue to repay you in some way.
Primero necesito agradecerle a todas las personas que nos han ayudado por medio de la oración, enviando buena vibra a la salud de mi papá que realmente estuvo muy mal al momento de ingresar. También quiero resaltar a todos los usuarios que me han realizado aportes económicos a mi wallet. Siete días en un hospital público en un país como Venezuela consume mucha energía y dinero, no solo para el paciente, sino para los familiares que le acompañamos. Mil gracias a todos por tanta generosidad y espero la vida me permita poder seguir retribuyéndoles de alguna manera.
Long story short, the car accident my dad was in last year continues to wreak havoc. This all started with a urinary infection that reached the point of sepsis, which is why he was readmitted to the hospital. Thank God, he almost completely overcame that critical condition, but it always leaves other after-effects inside the body, as it is not an easy disease to erase. Studies are still being carried out to rule out liver and heart problems, why he continues to have sporadic convulsions, why he has so much fluid retention and even to rule out a possible liquid gangrene. There is really a long way to go in this process.
En resumen, el accidente automovilístico que mi papá sufrió el año pasado sigue causando estragos. Todo esto comenzó con una infección urinaria que llegó al punto de la sepsis, motivo por el cual reingresó al hospital. Gracias a Dios, ese cuadro crítico lo superó casi por completo, pero siempre deja otras secuelas dentro del cuerpo, ya que no es una enfermedad fácil de borrar. Aún se están realizando estudios para descartar afecciones en el hígado, corazón, por qué le siguen ocurriendo convulsiones esporádicas, porque tiene tanta retención de líquidos y hasta descartar una posible gangrena líquida. Realmente hay mucho camino por recorrer en este proceso.
In spite of so many medications, my dad is coming to his senses and is beginning to realize that he is in the hospital and all the processes that are taking place, at the same time the family continues to take care of his emotional state. I ask everyone who reads these lines to keep sending us prayers and good vibes. I am sure that the power of prayer is what has helped us overcome every battle since we entered the Hospital, but we still need support. Not only my dad, but my mom, brother and me. There are only three of us for all that we have to face. Thank God a wonderful cousin has never failed to help us with transportation to the hospital. A pesar de tantos medicamentos, mi papá ya está volviendo en sí y comienza a darse cuenta de que está en el hospital y todos los procesos que se llevan a cabo, al mismo tiempo la familia sigue cuidando su estado emocional. Pido a todos los que leen esta líneas que sigan enviándonos oraciones y buena vibra. Estoy seguro que el poder de la oración es el que nos ha ayudado a vencer cada batalla desde que entramos al Hospital, pero seguimos necesitando apoyo. No solo mi papá, sino mi mamá, hermano y yo. Solo somos tres personas para todo lo que hay que enfrentar. Gracias a Dios un primo maravilloso nunca nos ha dejado de ayudar con el transporte al hospital.
