Esta es mi primera vez participando en el Hive Open Mic, creo que es porque no se me da bien elegir canciones de acuerdo a un tema en específico, así que esta semana me viene como anillo al dedo porque el tema es: ?. Esta interrogante que nos permite elegir el tema del cual queremos hablar y cantar.

Y digo que toca hablar o en este caso más específico escribir pues por ser nuestro blog una bitácora no basta con dejar el link de un video y la letra de una canción y seguir de largo, es necesario contar un poco más sobre lo que esa canción nos hace sentir, tal vez decir por qué la hemos elegido. Las canciones que amamos cantar tienen una historia personal tras ella.

Por ejemplo este cover que les presento el día de hoy, tiene una historia muy particular la cuel les comento en el video pero que también aprovecho para comentarles por aquí. Algunos días atrás mientras conversaba por Discord con @gr33nmaster sobre las nuevas novedades de Spliterlands, él muy amablemente me dijo que le gusta mucho mi forma de cantar y me preguntó que si había escuchado la canción "Prometiste" de Pepe Aguilar y que le gustaría escucharla en mi voz, Yo no la había escuchado y debo confesar que al hacerlo ME ENCANTÓ.
For example this cover that I present to you today has a very particular story that I tell you in the video but that I also take the opportunity to tell you here. A few days ago while I was talking on Discord with @gr33nmaster about the new Spliterlands news, he very kindly told me that he likes my singing and asked me if I had heard the song "Prometiste" by Pepe Aguilar and that he would like to hear it in my voice, I had not heard it and I must confess that when I did I LOVED it.
El me compartió el link de la versión acústica y fue muy genial escuchar a todos los artistas presentes, el ukulele me recordó al cuatro venezolano, el cual toco un poco. Afortunadamente conseguí un tutorial para cuatro de esta preciosa canción, Estuve ensayando varios días, no es mi fuerte tocar y cantar (xD), soy más de lanzar melodías en voz. Luego de ensayar noté que el tono no se ajustaba a mi voz y pensé en usar mi capotraste para subir el tono, aunque esto no sea bien visto, pero a mi cuesta mucho transportar las canciones (xD). ¡Lo siento puristas! (xD).
He shared with me the link to the acoustic version and it was very cool to hear all the artists present, the ukulele reminded me of the Venezuelan cuatro, which I play a little. Fortunately, I got a tutorial for cuatro of this beautiful song, I was rehearsing for several days, it's not my forte to play and sing (xD), I'm more of a vocal melody thrower. After rehearsing I noticed that the pitch didn't fit my voice and I thought I would use my capo to raise the pitch, although this is frowned upon, I have a hard time transposing songs (xD). Sorry purists! (xD).
