In week 63 and this week's theme is: Storyteller, once again we face a new challenge, this week's theme gives us the opportunity to tell a story, and the story I bring you is of a very restless girl who does nothing but jump and jump.

Esta niña a la cual hago mención es mi adorable hija Anisbel, que cuando tenía 5 años de edad era muy inquieta se la pasaba brincando, saltando en todos lados, brincaba en la escuela, en la calle, en la casa, y su trampolín preferido era la cama. Por tal motivo decidí componerle una canción para destacar este comportamiento, de mi autoría para todos ustedes INQUIETA es un ritmo a 5/8 merengue Venezolano.

This little girl I am mentioning is my adorable daughter Anisbel, who when she was 5 years old was very restless, she was jumping everywhere, jumping at school, in the street, at home, and her favorite trampoline was her bed. For this reason I decided to compose a song to highlight this behavior, of my authorship for all of you INQUIETA is a 5/8 Venezuelan merengue rhythm.

Una de las características principales que tiene el merengue venezolano, es la combinación de tiempos binarios y ternarios. Algunos suelen componer merengues Venezolanos con la medida de compas de: 2/4; 5/8; 6/8 esto queda al gusto del compositor. Existe una variedad de instrumentos con los que se puede acompañar este ritmo y varía según la zona, hacia el oriente del país se destaca el uso de la mandolina el cuatro la guitarra; mientras que en la capital se destacan: la trompeta, el trombón, el saxo el clarinete, el cuatro, el bajo, el rallo, las maracas, la mandolina, la guitarra, la flauta y batería.

One of the main characteristics of Venezuelan merengue is the combination of binary and ternary beats. Some usually compose Venezuelan merengues with the measure of compas of: 2/4; 5/8; 6/8, this is left to the composer's taste. There is a variety of instruments with which this rhythm can be accompanied and it varies according to the zone, towards the east of the country the use of the mandolin, the cuatro and the guitar stands out; while in the capital city the following stand out: the trumpet, the trombone, the sax, the clarinet, the cuatro, the bass, the rallo, the maracas, the mandolin, the guitar, the flute and the drums.
