Mi estimada comunidad de Hive Open Mic, esta semana 145 estamos con una otivaciónmuy especial sugerida por nuestro Artista Destacado @sleemfit: Compartir temas cuya temática sea "Glory" (Gloria).
El diccionario de la Real Academia de la Lengua Española (RAE) tiene catorce acepciones diferentes para definir la gloria. La No. 12 dice textualmente: "En el cristianismo, lugar ideal en el que se encuentran los bienaventurados en presencia de Dios." Es en esa dirección a la que apunté al seleccionar el tema para participar esta semana: "San Juan To' Lo Tiene". Le hacemos nuestra versión al estilo "Venezuelan Power".Pero originalmente es un tema del género musical " Sangueo "
San Juan, Juan El Bautista o San Juan Bautista, primo de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, quien le reconoció y le dio a conocer como "El Cordero de Dios que quita el pecado del mundo" y tuvo el privilegio de bautizarle. Dice la Biblia que era lleno del Espíritu Santo desde el vientre de su madre.
No cabe duda que está en el número de los bienaventurados que al final de los tiempos podrán disfrutar de la presencia y la gloria de Dios.
Sin embargo,este canto no lo llamaríamos nunca un canto "sacro",aunque tampoco le podríamos calificar de "profano". Mezcla lo espiritual con lo material, porque somos una mezcla siempre de ambas cosas. Pienso que es el mensaje de la forma de la cruz misma: Un madero vertical apuntando hacia Dios y uno horizontal en el que Jesús abrió sus brazos como para abrazar a toda la Humanidad con su redención.
Esa horizontalidad de nuestra vida material debe ser siempre influenciada por la verticalidad, para que la gloria de Dios llegue a nosotros.

My dear Hive Open Mic community, this week 145 we are with a very special motivation suggested by our Spotlight Artist @sleemfit: Sharing songs whose theme is "Glory" .
The dictionary of the Royal Academy of the Spanish Language (RAE) has fourteen different meanings to define [glory. It is in that direction that I pointed when selecting the topic to participate this week: "San Juan To' Lo Tiene"(Saint John Has It All)
. We make our version of it in the "Venezuelan Power" style. But originally it is a song from the musical genre "Sangueo".
San Juan, Juan El Bautista or San Juan Bautista, cousin of Jesus, who recognized Him and made Him known as "The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world" and had the privilege of baptizing Him. The Bible says that he was filled with the Holy Spirit from his mother's womb.
There is no doubt that he is in the number of the blessed who at the end of time will be able to enjoy the presence and glory of God.
However, we would never call this song a "sacred" song, although we could not describe it as "profane" either. Mix the spiritual with the material, because we are always a mixture of both. I think it is the message of the shape of the cross itself: a vertical tree pointing towards God and a horizontal one in which Jesus opened His arms as if to embrace all humanity with His redemption.
That horizontality of our material life must always be influenced by verticality, so that the glory of God reaches us.
